Bike Riding with the Girls

So there is no doubt that I have been putting my mountain bike to some use........with the trips around the block, to riding to my moms, I can now add about a 6-7 mile ride to the list with my little nieces Brit and Car.

The girls had the day off for Presidents Day so my mom thought she would give them their birthday presents a little early which were new big girl bikes.   They loved them and couldn't wait to take a long ride.

We went on a ride to get lunch which was almost 2.5 miles away.....

Headed home for another 2.5 miles and Gav passed out.....

Then the girls wanted to keep going so they went around and around and around till Carly said she had bike butt hahaha.....i wonder where she got that from.  I have to say it was a wonderful day to get out and enjoy the weather!!!

"Little Gym Time"

So it has been a while since I have blogged but luckily not too much has happened....I did enrol Gavin into a Little Gym class where his cousins do their Tae Kwon Do.  He has soooooo much fun here.  We are going three days a week right now and if it was up to Gavin he would go everyday all day long.  This kid cries when we have to leave it is so sad.  I hate the feeling of pulling him away from something he loves and is good for him.  But I have to be the bad mom haha.

Right now he is just starting to learn the basics of simple movements, stretches, patterns and so much more.  The best part about it is he runs himself to the point he needs a nap after hahaha. 

He has no fear here and scares his momma so much when he thinks he can be a bigger boy than he really is.  But I understand he needs to learn what is good for him and what will hurt him.  So I guess you can say momma is learning a lot too.  We are almost done with his first month and it has gone by so fast.  He is picking up on a lot of things and has moved up to another class that has a little higher skill level.  I can't wait to see what he will be learning in this class.

Golfing with Daddy

Last week Gavin and I headed off to the driving range with daddy.  I have to say Gavin loved hitting the balls and playing with the tees.  It was nice cause no body was around so we were actually able to let Gavin run around and try and hit.  Daddy was so excited that we were sharing in his hobby and that we all could be together.  I have to say we might be doing this a little more often.

Gavin's 1st Trip to the Fire Station

Ok so it was finally time I took Gavin to check out the fire station and all the fire trucks.  The poor kid rides on his plastic one around the house and even makes the noises.  So we headed off to see Uncle Tony when he was at a station not too far from us.

Once we got there we had to wait a little while cause Uncle Tony wasn't there and we had no way of calling him since he broke yet another phone hahaha ill just leave it at that.  So he finally came back and we got to take a tour of the Station.  We got to see where they sleep, work out, eat etc.  The best part was we got to check out the fire truck.  I have never seen so many buttons, tools and hoses on a vehicle in my life.  Tony showed us everything on the truck and it was amazing to see how that thing works.

I know Gavin was still a little young and didn't understand yet but I can't wait to take him back when he gets a little bigger. Ok ok ok the truth is what girl wouldn't want to go back to a fire station hahaha J/K!!!

"Happy 29th Birthday Tiffany"

So a few weeks ago we celebrated one of our best and dear friend Tiffany's annual 29th Birthday.   We headed out for a little dinner, cocktails and a little catching up. It was finally great to see all the ladies and celebrate a dear friend of ours.  We love you Tiffany and we hope you had a wonderful birthday.

The Kissing Booth is Now Open

So since Valentine's Day is coming up Mandi and I decided to get a jump on our picture taking a little early this year.....we had so many ideas we wanted to do we couldn't wait any longer and had to get it done.  Let me tell you once again Mandi captured amazing pictures of my little man.   Everything we planned came together so well.  We had a little oops with the camera but we were able to get it fixed and take a few HUNDRED photos once again making it so hard to pick my favorite.  So I am sorry to say this blog is going to be a little photo overboard.

We had so much fun this year doing these Valentines Day pictures.....we went to a few of our favorite locations and captured amazing pictures.  Thank you so much Auntie Mandi we are so grateful for such beautiful pictures you took.  Can't wait for our next photo sesh....I can not imagine what we are gonna get ourselves into next hahaha....
