Gavin's 6th Month Photos

I want to start off by thanking my bestest friend Mandi for taking such beautiful pictures of Gavin.  She has been there every milestone Gavin has achieved and I am so very thankful to have her in my life, and also in Gavin's life.  Today was so much fun....I packed a few toys and a few outfits and headed off to Auntie Mandi's for another photo session.  I really think Gavin hates us by now but he has no clue this is gonna happen till he gets married...hahaha.

So we got to Mandi's and did our first outfit change and got him into this cute yellow button up and the work boots to match.....I almost ditched the shoes cause Gavin curles his toes so we couldn't get them on but we did...

He looks sooooo big here...

Then we tried to sit him on this really cute Pirate Ship playset by her apt., it was darling but he almost took a face plant...not sure if he is ready yet for this big boy toy...

Sooo cute sitting up like a big boy....

Here is another picture of those cute little work boots that he is trying to chew off...

Then we let him stand on the bench and of course he loved it.....

After this outfit we changed over to the really cute sweater with the fohawk on it...we tried to do shoes on this one as well but you know by now my kid hates shoes...so we got him curling his feet as always...

So for Christmas Grandpa Rick gave Gavin a really cute black and chrome walker car and we had to use it for the photoshoot..and of course add the beanie to make him a little tougher...

He is pretty much saying get out of my way....

After all of our wardrobe changes and pictures we had to get Gavin on his firetruck that Auntie Mandi bought him for Christmas...and of course a matching hat...

Thank you again Mandi for the wonderful memories you have created for our family.  We love you so much and we can't wait for Gavin's 9 month pictures.  I am pretty sure he can wait but momma is already planning it.!!!

**Merry 1st Christmas to my little baby boy Gavin**

I had the best Christmas ever this year.  Not only did I celebrate with my wonderful family, I also got to celebrate my baby boy's 1st Christmas.  Even though we thought he was still young and would not have too much fun.....well he showed us.  He was ripping the paper off and eating all the bows, and wanted to play with each and every toy infront of him.  It was so much fun to watch him.

What did Santa Bring.....

Look at all my toys...YAH!!!

So cool lets ride...

Checking his mirrors...

Thanksgiving Weekend

So this year we had Thanksgiving at my sister's house with the whole family, and of course we had one extra this year.....baby Gavin.

Yummy Sweet Potato

So after eating our brains out , we all packed up and headed for Big Bear for the weekend.  Good friends of my sister and her husband gave us their house on Big Bear Lake for the weekend.  We had so much fun.  Sad part about it, Adam was not able to make it with us because he had to work.  However the exciting part was it snowed a few inches on Saturday night and Britney and Carly got to see it fall from the sky.  They were so excited.

Here is the house we stayed in and the view from the front yard.

1st time in the snow...

The Morning after it snowed

Walking to Mama

At the Sledding Park watching us fly down the hill

I Can't wait to go back to the mountains it was a much needed vacation and a wonderful way to spend time with the family!!  Missed you Adam!!

Halloween 2010

I know I am way late on this blog hahaha.  This year Gavin got to celebrate his first year of Halloween and of course mom had to dress him up.  He was not to happy with the idea but once I got my pictures I let him take off a few items.

My little Pirate.

We had a blast this year....all of Gavin's cousins came over to trick or treat and pass out candy.  Britney, Carly and Belly all dressed up this year.  I think the girls loved passing out candy more this year than walking door to door.

Belly was a baby, Carly a Bumble Bee and Britney a Pirate just like Gavin

Passing out candy...or maybe eating it all hahaha

So sleepy it was a long day.

I can't wait for next Halloween when I can dress Gavin up again...hopefully he will like the next costume.  I guess I will start looking now.

Pumpkin Carving with Adam,Gavin, Brit, and Car = one messy kitchen!!!!!

So today was so much fun.  Gavin got to carve pumpkins for the first time, (well he watched) and the girls got to carve their little pumkins too.  We had a blast and mommy even put Gavin in the pumpkin for more pictures.  I swear this kid is gonna hate me for all these pictures I take.

Getting ready to make a mess....

or not he just wanted to eat the scoop!!

Soooo messy but so much fun...

Even though we made a mess it was all worth it to see the girls having so much fun and for Gavin to experience his first pumpkin carving.  I still think I had the best time it made me feel like a kid again.  Here are our final pumpkins....

The top is Adam's and the Kitty is Car's and the big eyes is Britney's!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
