"Sickness"

So my poor little buggy had his first cold in 8 months.  I know I should be happy that this has been his first one but I have to say I hate when he is sick.  I feel so helpless.  Not only did he get a cold but he got an ear infection and on top of those two he is teething.  Poor little guy had it bad. 

Poor little buggy couldn't breath at all...

So we went to the doctor and got some meds and let me tell you after a few days on his medication he was back to his normal self and I was so happy to see him playing and laughing and smiling again. 

Mom I feel soooooo much better...

Spending the Night at Auntie Erin's

So my sister took Gavin for the night while I had to work on a Charity Poker tournament.  As much as I hate leaving my little one it is pretty nice to be able to have a night to myself.  Even if I was working and having a few cocktails with my bestie Mandi I still miss him.  So of course I was texting her every hour to see how he was doing and of course she was sending me pictures that made me want to run home and get him.  However I did not and tried to enjoy the evening.

Playing at the Park

A few weeks ago I watched my little girls Brit and Car.  So instead of staying home we went to the park for a few hours and played on the swings, jungle gym, and went on a mission.  (Brit calls this a scavenger hunt).  We had so much fun and Gavin loved every minute of it.

So today Gavin was on a roll talking and talking and talking.  I have no clue what he is trying to say but I love it.

So I took Gavin to a birthday party at a place called My Gym and it was so much fun.  They put him in this swing with Cam-Cam and he laughed the whole time.  So of course mama had to go buy him a swing for the backyard.  He loves it.......and is now beginning to not want to get out hahaha.  I love seeing this beautiful smile on his face.  Love you little buggy!!!



"Grandma Fay"

So a few days ago we got the best call ever from my Grandma....she is CANCER FREE!!!  I started crying with so much excitement.  It has been a long road for her these past 5 years.  Her dedication to chemo treatments 3 weeks a month really paid off.  I know she is so tired and I know she wanted to give up so many times but I have to thank the lord above for answering all of our prayers.  Grandma you are one of the biggest parts of my life and I don't know what I would have done without you.  I love you sooooo much.  Now let's get that immune system up and running so we can get you down here.  Love you with all of my heart Grandma Fay.

"Mama"

It is official woohooo...Gavin said his first word and it was "MAMA"!!!  Yah I guess shoving it down his throat paid off hahaha.  I didn't know if I should cry cause he said it or if I should cry cause he is getting to big to fast.  I have to say I cried for both.  Love you soooooo much little buggy.
